2. The Reverend's Preparation for Sunday Service

1) The Minister Must Take Responsibility for the Religious Service

These days, when you look at church leaders you can find a lot of worthless ones. There are many who go out fundraising but don't even know which day service is being held, leaving members to meet on their own. Who must take charge of the religious service? The minister must. Isn't that true? It isn't right if a guest takes responsibility for the service. Because of this, even in the countryside, if you don't take a formal gathering seriously it cannot prosper. Regional leaders, do you understand? The same is true for districtwide services.

On the day of a religious service, you must purify yourself with a bath and bow before Heavenly Father; also, you must go to a holy ground to pray. Even if there is no one who comes to Him, God will look down on that place of heart you have prepared. The position of praying alone tearfully is never a lonely one. Because God is there with you, it can never be lonely. If for three years you have shown your devotion to a certain neighborhood without gaining a follower, that neighborhood will go to ruin.
